End of the Year Already

Not sure where the year went! Its certainly been a busy one.

Fya's had a great end to the year with two challenges in Senior Agility and finishing (finally) her ADX so now a lot closer to her Ag Ch which is great.

Flame has just turned 12 - he retired from Agilty in May and is still sound and happy.

Kindle is certainly keeping him active which can't be bad!!

I need to take some photos of Kin doing some of her foundation work and will post them soon.

Merry Xmas all!!!!

Catching up with the Rellies

At Napier's Champ Agility Show Kin got to catch up with her half-sister Bana and also have some rough and tumble with Geiga her litter sister.

They are all looking really good and we all had great fun!

Kin loves going away to the agilty shows, is happy and relaxed at the shows now and travels really well too.

Kin meets the sheep

Here's Kin's first meeting with some woolly beasts.

Of course what you don't see are Ross and Julie's dogs holding the sheep still so Kin can have a look..................

Labour Weekend at the McBeths

Labour Weekend was spent at the McBeths on their farm on the western side of lake Taupo.

What a blast the dogs had - screaming through the pines, up and down hills and around the terribly flash (and floodlit) Agility arena.

The photo at right shows Flame and Fya in the Pine paddock waiting for Ross and Ice to bring the final couple of cattle up to the gate.

The weather was not the best for the weekend - very windy but it was lovely to catch up with Ross and Julie and have a break with time to relax.

Nationals Fun

Well the NZKC Nationals for 2007 have come and gone with 10 Tervs entered in the breed. It was the first outing for the pups and a good experience for them all.

Breed was Friday then Kin came to Agility on the weekend.

Took a few photos at the breed show - love the one of Kin and Gyga having had too much of a big day :-)

Starting Off

Well after many years with Border Collies, I have a new baby.

From Donna at La Echelon kennels in Gisborne, Kindle (La Echelon NZ Inferno) is fitting into the family very well.

Kin is a Grey Belgian Shepherd (Tervueren) now 12 weeks old

She has her first official outing at the Nationals this coming week as a Baby Puppy which will be a bit of fun with a couple of her littermates there as well.

Fya thinks Kin was brought home specifically for her to play with - Flame's not so keen on puppies now at nearly 12 but is very patient with her.

Kin has a very strong nature but very sweet as well. She learns quickly and loves to tug already. She has great hand touches and I look forward to working with her as she grows.

Yesterday we had 5 Belgians here for a visit. There was Kindle and her brother Storm (who lives in Raumati), Jasper and Luca (from Kentaza Kennels) who are a month older than Kin and Kujo who lives with Luca in Upper Hutt.
